When Craintif, a lowborn half-blooded fairy who lives his life usually in a slum on planet Faery, witnesses the battle between a group of fairy royal guards and some pixies in the woods and saves a beautiful, noble teenager, Alicia of Oberia, his life takes a new turn to an unexpected heroic role with a new responsibility to save the fairykind from the largest genocide caused by pixies and thier new leader, the traitorous Queen Alejandro. Owning to his failure to save the life of King Oberon IV, he and his friends with Alicia have to travel through the portal to the Earth to stop Alejandro and her fellow pixies. Accidental, Craintif is lost and wakes up alone in where he has never seen before, the modern human world of globalization he has never seen from any books or pictures.

What he doesn't know is that this new world he thought he knew very well is going to put him and everyone into a big risky labyrinth and it might be imposible for them to find a way to go back home again...

Optikinesis

Optikinesis or Ophthalmokinesis is the obscure power to control eyesight with the mind. Fairies and pixies in 'The Craintif Philson Novels' were born with this ability to create a kind of illusion to trick others. This kind of illusion doesn't work on the mind or the light but directly to eyesight. For them, this ability is unnecessary because they can manipulate light as well but sometimes they just use this ability to trick the target who can learn how the reflection illusion works such as when Christina Page lets Craintif go to church with her but he has to cloak himself with his mentally photokinetic cover to hide him from the others, Craintif has to control her eyesight and make her see what he wants her to see because this ability needs less concentration than ergokinesis.

Ergokinesis

Ergokinesis is the psi power to manipulate all forms of energy with the mind. One with this power can keep energy as potential or cause it to release itself sporadically. One with this power can negate potential energy, thus keeping oneself and others in continuous motion. One with this power can even generate energy perpetually, and thus have peak stamina and/or release the excess energy to fly or shoot bolts, blasts or rays.

Fairies and pixies are only notable species born with this ability. They don't have to meditate and train to unlock this ability like some humans do but the meditation and training can help increasing their power and capacity. With this ability, fairies and pixies (both half-blooded and full blooded) can manipulate various forms of power including light, electricity, beam power, nuclear power.


Fairies and pixies naturally have basis of ergokinesis, thus some of them can't absorb energy to increase their power and it seems they can't even protect themselves from any much power that rushes directly to them. With this lack, they can attack each other with their own power very easily. However, fairy ancestors created some relics to protect themselves, fairy kings, fairy queens and their people and also empower themselves to be more powerful than the pixies. Those are all magical-like but there are always science explanation behind each of them but for peace and orderliness, those ancestors kept the secrets of each weapon with each fairy king.
